Annie. She is from Norway (just like Kings of Conveneince and ever so neglected music genuis Magnet). She makes pop music. The first time I ever caught her voice over a catchy disco-esque tune with "Heartbeat". Her first single "Chewing Gum" really throws that "bubble" gum beat to your eats. I personally think it's only personal preference that I leaned toward "Heartbeat" more.

I like "Heartbeat" more, but I didn't like "Chewing Gum" a whole lot in the first place. Then again, now that I have mp3s I may grow to like it more...
If only there were something like this in NYC.
It's always places that are NOT in the NYC area that get the best festivals.
Then again, I don't like festivals. What a rip off.
